Buenos Aires - Former Argentine Jorge Olivera Rovere General has been convicted of crimes against humanity to life in prison. The 82-year-old was made for four murders and 107 cases of abductions or "disappearances" of people during the dictatorship of the 1976 charge until 1983.
Olivera Rovere was considered as the right hand of General Guillermo Suarez Mason, one of the leaders of the military coup of 1976. International learned of Olivera Rovere as speaker of the dictator Leopoldo Galtieri during the Falklands war in 1982 against Great Britain. Olivera Rovere was arrested in March 2004 after the cancellation of an amnesty law. He later was released on bail.
